When Water 1st staff visited San Gabriel in April, 2007, the water project was nearly complete. Come meet community members who are on the verge of having clean drinking water in their community for the first time.
In 2007, Water 1st traveled to Ethiopia to visit the site of their ongoing work, Ilamu Muja. We met people who are building the water system, and went to where they still collect dirty water as they wait for the clean water to flow to the taps.
Water 1st visited water project sites in West Bengal, India in 2007. I tagged along and shot this film, which was shown at Benaroya Hall in November.
